The PRocess
You send your manuscript, and I work directly on the file using Track Changes, shaping each sentence with care. Every edit is visible, every suggestion optional. My goal is not to overwrite your voice, but to help it breathe more cleanly.
You receive five things:
The fully edited manuscript with changes visible.
A clean copy with all edits accepted.
A line editing workflow document outlining each step of the process.
A style-sheet document specifying every decision made and why.
A personalised editorial letter highlighting key strengths and areas for refinement.

Line editing for fiction is €0.025 per word, including full Track Changes edits and a summary note.
Turnaround:
Most manuscripts are completed within 2–3 weeks, depending on length and density. Longer projects (100k+) may require a little extra time to ensure every line receives the attention it deserves.
Rush timelines are sometimes possible — just let me know your deadline.

Will you change my style?
No. Line editing refines your natural voice, not replaces it. Every edit is made with your tone and intention in mind.
Do you fix grammar?
Yes — but only as part of clarifying the line. Full grammar-focused editing belongs to copyediting. The Charm of Clarity sits between developmental and copy edits. My ‘Writer’s Reduction’ package includes both line and copyediting.
Do you use Track Changes?
Always. You’ll see every adjustment and can accept or reject each one.
What genres do you accept?
All fiction: fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, romance, YA, historical, and literary.
What if I disagree with an edit?
You have complete control over which edits to accept or reject. All changes are suggestions, and the process is collaborative.
Do you edit in UK or US English?
Both. I work with either variant, maintaining consistency throughout your manuscript according to your preference.
