Your real relationship is the emotional foundation of every Fatebinder commission. Together, we'll transform its defining moments, personalities and connections into an original fantasy or science-fiction romance.

Before development begins, we'll establish the memories, qualities and shared experiences you most wish to preserve, along with the genre, tone, intended length, romantic themes and any personal boundaries. Your completed Fatebinder questionnaire will help guide these decisions.

I'll then create a preliminary worldbuilding bible, character dossiers and plot map, exploring how your relationship might unfold within its fictional setting. You'll review these foundations, suggest changes and help refine the story's direction before manuscript drafting begins.

Throughout the writing process, you'll have opportunities to review the manuscript at agreed milestones. Your feedback can guide refinements to the characters' relationship, dialogue, emotional development, pacing and the portrayal of moments that matter to you.

The finished novel is a fictional interpretation, not a literal record of your relationship. Events, settings and circumstances may be transformed or invented, while the central emotional connection remains rooted in the vision we've agreed.

Revisions are intended to strengthen the manuscript within its approved direction. Substantial changes to the established premise, relationship arc, genre, major plot elements or intended length may require a revised quotation and schedule.

Your individual proposal will define the project scope, development stages, review milestones, revision allowances and any relevant boundaries before work begins.

Some love stories are written to be shared with the world. Others are created as deeply personal gifts. Whatever you intend for your Fatebinder novel, your relationship deserves care and discretion.

Before the project begins, we'll establish the terms governing ownership, copyright, permitted use and the point at which the agreed rights to the completed work transfer to you. These arrangements will be documented in your individual service agreement.

Whether you're commissioning the novel together or arranging it as a surprise, we'll agree on appropriate communication and confidentiality arrangements. If the manuscript is intended as a gift, its preparation can be handled discreetly within the boundaries established for the project.

Your memories, photographs, correspondence, questionnaire responses and other personal materials will be handled in accordance with the agreed confidentiality terms and applicable privacy obligations. Non-disclosure agreements can also be discussed where appropriate.

Because the story draws on a real relationship, we'll discuss the respectful portrayal of both partners, the treatment of sensitive experiences and any relevant permissions or privacy considerations, particularly if the finished novel is intended for public distribution.

The finished work may be presented under your chosen name, pen name or another agreed attribution arrangement. Any public ghostwriting credit or acknowledgement will be established in advance.

Any portfolio use, manuscript excerpts or public acknowledgement of our collaboration will require your permission in accordance with the service agreement.
