Refund and Dispute Policy

Gray Matter Edits is committed to providing professional proofreading, editing, copywriting, ghostwriting, and story-planning services. This policy explains how refunds and disputes are handled.

  1. Refunds

  • Before work begins: Clients may request a full refund of any payments made (minus transaction fees).

  • Once work has started: Refunds are calculated proportionally based on the work completed at the time of cancellation.

  • Completed projects: Once a project is delivered and payment received, no refunds are available.

  • Business inability to complete work: If Gray Matter Edits cannot complete a project due to unforeseen circumstances, the client will receive a full refund for any undelivered work.

  1. Disputes and Chargebacks

  • Clients are encouraged to contact Gray Matter Edits directly at [your email] to resolve any issues before initiating a payment dispute.

  • Any disputes must be raised within 30 days of payment.

  • If a dispute escalates to a chargeback through the payment provider, Gray Matter Edits will provide all relevant documentation to defend the legitimacy of the transaction.
